DAY 1 : Arrive Colombo - Pinnawela - Kandy Arrive at Colombo Airport, meet and greet by our representative. Later proceed to Kandy. Enroute visit the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage, it is an orphanage, nursery and captive breeding ground for wild Asian elephants located at Pinnawala village. Later drive towards Kandy, arrive and check in at Theva Residence Kandy, ideally located along the slopes of the Hantana range. It offers commanding views over the surrounding mountains and the bustle of the Kandy town located only two kilometres away.Overnight stay in Kandy. Note : In the Elephant Orphanage at Pinnawela, one can visit the elephant at feeding time to see the baby elephants being bottle fed and the entire herd being taken for a bath thereafter to the river near by. These activities take place at specific timings only. DAY 2 : Kandy - Peradeniya - Kandy Today morning proceed to visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. It is a Buddhist temple in the city of Kandy It is located in the royal palace complex which houses the relic of the tooth of Buddha. Later visit Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens.The botanical garden was first built as a pleasure garden by a Sinhala king and was expanded by the British. It is 147 acres in extent and provides an amazing variety of trees, plants and flowers. Evening is free for leisure. You can enjoy the sunset from the hotel as the sun disappears over the hills opposite. Overnight stay in Kandy. (B) Optional : One can enjoy Kandy Cultural show in evening at additional cost DAY 3 : Kandy - Nuwara Eliya Today after breakfast proceed to Nuwara Eliya. Nuwara Eliya is the hill country of the Central Province, Sri Lanka. The city name meaning is "city on the plain (table land)" or "city of light". On arrival check in at Jetwing Warwick Garden Hotel. Itis an old colonial bungalow built in the style of a Scottish country mansion. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya. The dairy farms of Ambewela deserve a visit too and also there are tea tours a plenty for you to learn all about its legacy too. DAY 4 : Nuwara Eliya - Hakgala - Nuwara Eliya Today after breakfast proceed to Hakgala Botanical Garden. Hakgala second largest garden in Sri Lanka. There are over 10,000 species of flora planted here and during the Spring season in Nuwara Eliya thousands of visitors come to see the blooms here.The garden is famous for number of species of Orchids and Roses are planted there. Evening is at leisure. Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya. (B) Optional : Enjoy boat or Horse ride at Gregory Lake in evening at additional cost DAY 5 : Nuwara Eliya - Negombo Today after breakfast proceed to Negombo. Negombo city is an ideal and liberal place with luxury life style. It offers some of the better beaches on the west coast of Sri Lanka. On arrival check in at Hotel Jetwing Blue. As you enter trendy coastal getaway which embodies a contemporary taste of luxury living, you will be greeted by an enchanting view of the sun kissed beach. Eveing is at leisure.
