DAY 1 Belgrade Arrival
Upon arrival in Belgrade, proceed to Hotel for check in. Rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight in Belgrade.
DAY 2 Belgrade City Tour
Today's sightseeing of historic Belgrade begins at the daunting Kalemegdan Fortress, dramatically perched above the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers. Built in stages between the 1st and 18th centuries, this fortress witnessed major defensivebattles. View the colorful surrounding park before continuing to Slavija and Republic Squares, bustling Knez Mihajlova Street, the imposing Saint Sava Temple, one of the largest Orthodox churches in the world and the Memorial to the late Marshal Tito, leader of Yugoslavia for over 40 years, resting within an encircled flower garden. Time this afternoon on your own. Perhaps revisit the Old Bohemian Quarter of Skadarlija, frequently compared to Montmartre in Paris, both in appearance as well as its artistic atmosphere. DAY 3 Belgrade - Sarajevo
In the morning proceed to Sarajevo, Bosnia. The first Bosnian destination will be Travnik, a city of a turbulent history; after the Turkish occupation. The city became an important centre of crafts and it is also known as the capital of the governorsof Bosnia from 1697 to 1850. Travnik architecture and culture reflects all the periods of its history. Later head to Sarajevo for overnight stay. (B)
DAY 4 Sarajevo - Dubronik
Today continue the tour and proceed to Dubronik. On arrival proceed to hotel for check in. Rest of the day is free for leisure. Overnight in Dubronik. (B)
DAY 5 Dubronik City Tour
The day's schedule includes Panoramic Tour of Dubrovnik. A panoramic view of the Old City of Dubrovnik is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful sights in the world. Enclosed by impressive walls the terracotta roofs in contrast to the turquoise blueAdriatic is quite simply breath-taking. Since 1979 Dubrovnik has been recognized by UNESCO as a world heritage site and as soon as you enter the city it's easy to see why. Every stone in the city has its own tale to tell and every street offers a glimpse of history. This is a tour certain to fill your holiday photo album with unforgettable memories. The excursion starts with a drive to the Hill above Dubrovnik, offering a spectacular view of Dubrovnik city. The tour continues with a drive across Dubrovnik River bridge, with a stop for a great view of the Gruz Port, Lapad Peninsula and the beautiful Fjord of Dubrovnik River. The tour ends with a guided tour of Dubrovnik Old Town. Post City Tour, the day is at leisure. (B)
DAY 6 Dubronik - Split
Depart Dubrovnik and travel north along the dramatic Adriatic coast to the UNESCO protected seaside town of Split, the second largest city in Croatia. Upon arrival, a walking tour along the cobbled streets of the Old Town features the historic innercity with its dominating Roman influence, built around the 4th century Palace of Diocletian. This spectacular palace, a precious example of Roman architecture, is one of the largest and best preserved in the world. See the remains of the Cathedral ofSt. Domnius built in the Middle Ages, and the Temple of Jupiter with its headless black sphinx guarding the entrance. Spend the remainder of the day discovering the town independently, or taking a leisurely stroll along the scenic waterfront promenade. Overnight in Split. (B)
DAY 7 Split - Zagreb - Enroute Lake Plitvice
Today depart north to Lake Plitvice. Plitvice Lakes National Park, a wonderland of 16 interconnecting lakes, flanked by thundering waterfalls and a huge primeval forest. This area, known as a geological and hydrological phenomenon, is celebrated as one of the most beautiful natural sights in Europe, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Later Proceed to Zagreb. On arrival check in to the hotel. Rest of the day is free for leisure. Overnight in Zagreb. (B)
DAY 8 Zagreb City Tour
Proceeed to Best of Zagreb City Tour. The tour will show you the fortified medieval Upper Town, St Mary's church with its multi-colored tile roof, the baroque church of St. Catherine, the Cathedral of St Stephen and the Parliament with the Government Palace. In the lower city, stretching around the main square with statue of Ban Jelacic, you will see the 19th century National Theater, Museum of Arts and Crafts, the University and the beautiful Zrinjevac Park with numerous elaborate Secession (Art Nouveau) buildings. Later Rest of the day is free for leisure. Overnight in Zagreb. (B)
DAY 9 Zagreb - Lake Bleb
Today check out of the hotel and proceed to Lake Bled. On Arrival visit Bled Castle located on a cliff high above the lake. The balance of the day is at leisure. (B)
Optional Tour :
1) Lakes Bled and Bohinj. Enjoy a scenic ride to the island in the middle of the lake Bled. After disembarking the boat, visit the island's old church housing an impressive art collection. Later, the boat will bring you back ashore and you will continue by motor coach to another Alpine lake resort - Bohinj, beautifully incorporated amidst the dense woods and spectacular mountains.
DAY 10 Lake Bled - Ljubljana
Check out of the hotel and proceed to Ljubljana at relax time. On Arrival check into the hotel. Later proceed to Private Ljubljana City Tour. The old city centre has a unique architectural appearance, particularly due a felicitous combination of Baroque and Art Nouveau architecture and masterful creations by the 20th century architect Joze Plecnik. Our guide will pick you up in front of your hotel and take you around the city. You will get to know why Triple Bridge is actually triple, where locals buy their food, how Napoleon was one of the most popular politicians all wrapped, why Slovenia really lives with LOVE in our name also in Ljubljana and. well, we don't want to tell you too much.
