Day 01: Departure from Mumbai
Board 16345 Netravati Exp at 1140 hrs. from LTT. Overnight train journey.
Day 02: Ernakulam – Munnar (130Km / 4 Hrs Drive)
Arrive at Ernakulam Railway station 1430 hrs. Immediately transfer to Munnar. Surrounded by the Anamalai hills, this hill station offers spectacular views of the craggy peaks, manicured tea estates, picturesque towns and winding lanes. Arrive Munnar & check in at hotel. Go for a stroll in tea estates. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Munnar
Morning after breakfast, go on a full day sightseeing covering Eravikulam National Park, Mattuputty dam, Echo point & tea estates around Munnar. Shopping at Munnar town, back to resort. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04: Munnar – Thekkady (110 Kms / 4 hrs Drive)
Morning after breakfast, depart for Thekkady. Arrive Thekkady & check in to hotel. At Thekkady one can see the Periyar wildlife sanctuary. In the afternoon boat safari to view the wildlife. Spice plantation tour in the evening and back to hotel.
Day 05: Thekkady – Alleppey (150 Kms / 4 Hrs Drive)
Morning after breakfast proceed to Alleppey, where you will be booked to stay overnight on the Houseboat. Staying in Houseboat is breathtakingly stimulating experience. While sailing down a maze of canals one sees different scenes from the villages, paddy fields, coconut palms, fisherman and local life. Lunch, dinner next day breakfast and tea snacks will be provided in the boat. The cool breeze from the Lake make you sleep early in the night after anchoring in a fancy place. Overnight at Houseboat.
Day 06: Alleppey – Kovalam (161 Kms / 4 Hrs.)
Breakfast at Alleppey and drive to Kovalam, one of the most popular beach destinations in Kerala. Kovalam consists of three adjacent crescent beaches separated by rocky headlands. On the way visit Trivandrum city, Padmanaba Swami temple, Napier Museum, etc. On arrival check into your hotel. Evening free for leisure on the beach. Overnight at hotel.
Day 07: Kovalam – Kanyakumari – Kovalam (82 Kms / 2 Hrs. per way)
Morning after breakfast transfer to Kanyakumari - Kanyakumari got its name from the Kumari Amman or the Kanyakumari Temple situated at the shore on the confluence of the Bay of Bengal, Indian Ocean and the Arabian Sea arrive Kanyakumari and cheek into hotel and afternoon visit Vivekanada rock memorial, Statue of Thiruvalloor, Here you will experience the ultimate beauty of Sunset from the tip of India. Overnight stay in Kovalam
Day 08: Kovalam – Trivandrum drop (11 Kms / 30 min)
Drop to Trivandrum station to board 16346 Netravati Exp at 0950 hrs. Overnight train journey.
